It covered Co-Counselling activties, SYNERGY KIDS Clubs and the two SYNERGY Centres, training progammes and a wide range of activities in the tsunami affected villages.......</span><br /><span style="font-family:Courier New;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Courier New;">Menna Selvanayagam introduced Sushila Raja, Director of SYNERGY CCE who explained the vision, mission and activiies of SYNERGY CCE. </span><br /><span style="font-family:Courier New;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Courier New;">This was followed by a presentation by Mr Gurunathan from the CENTRE for COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT and the partnership between the two organisations and village re-generation work in Navalady village in Batticaloa.</span><br /><span style="font-family:Courier New;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:Courier New;">Dinah Barton, a Homeopathy practitioner, explained the Co-counselling and trauma counselling carried out in Kalmunai and how that had enhanced their work.</span><br /><span style="font-family:Courier New;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:courier new;">This was followed by a scrumptious meal served by the C&amp;L Country Club. </span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:Courier New;">BREEZE, the popular music group entertained the 250 people gathered and soon had them dancing to Bob Marley, Rock &amp; Roll, Baila and Tamil pop songs.......</span><br /><br /><ul><li><span style="font-family:courier new;">Funds were secured for the project</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Courier New;">Optometric equipment were donate to the Centre to be handed over to the hospitals in Sri Lanka</span></li><li><span style="font-family:Courier New;">Indviduals have pledged to fund some projects</span></li></ul><p><span style="font-family:Courier New;">THE EVENT CAME TO A CLOSE AT 1AM........</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Courier New;">SYNERGY, WISHES TO THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT....</span></p><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/8639044402454635241-1158816727936591902?l=scn-charityuk.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>SCNnoreply@blogger.com0
